Farès Ghedjemis rediscovers his form as Frosinone star shines in Italy

Farès Ghedjemis has rediscovered his best form at Frosinone, delivering a series of impressive performances that have made him one of the club’s most influential players after a difficult start to the season.

The Algerian international winger has enjoyed an outstanding return to action after being left out of the squad for Frosinone’s opening league matches following a turbulent summer and uncertainty over his future.

However, Ghedjemis has responded positively to the setback and is now playing a central role in Frosinone’s impressive start to the campaign. His recent performances have attracted attention, with his pace, attacking movement and creativity causing problems for several Italian defences.

His growing influence was particularly evident during Frosinone’s 4-4 draw against Atalanta Bergamo. The winger produced an exceptional display, providing three assists to help his side secure a point in an entertaining encounter. His contribution earned him the Man of the Match award.

Ghedjemis maintained that momentum in the following fixture against Lecce, where Frosinone recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory. The Algerian once again demonstrated his creative qualities by registering another assist as his side produced an impressive attacking performance.

His excellent run continued on Sunday when Frosinone welcomed Torino. The winger played another decisive role, scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 victory before being named Man of the Match for the second time in three appearances.

Speaking after the game, Ghedjemis reflected on his individual achievement and the importance of the team’s result.

“This award is for myself, for the work I put in every day. Goals help win matches, but above all, I’m happy for the victory,” he said.

The 24-year-old has now been directly involved in five goals across his last three appearances, underlining the importance of his return to the starting picture.

His ability to take on defenders, create opportunities for teammates and deliver accurate passes in the final third has made him an increasingly important attacking option for Frosinone.

After a difficult period that threatened to disrupt his progress, Ghedjemis has responded with performances that have strengthened his position within the team.

His recent displays have also provided a timely reminder of his qualities to the Algerian national team, with the winger continuing to build momentum through his performances in Italian football.

For Frosinone, his resurgence represents a significant boost as they look to maintain their impressive start to the season. The club will hope he can sustain this level of performance in the coming matches.
