Moroccan giants FAR Rabat have completed the signing of Ugandan international Allan Okello from Tanzanian club Young Africans as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

The Royal Army Club reached a final agreement with Young Africans for the transfer of the 26-year-old midfielder, who will now begin a new chapter in the Moroccan Professional League.

Okello’s move to FAR Rabat comes after a short but impressive spell in the Tanzanian league, where he established himself as one of the standout attacking players.

The Ugandan midfielder joined Young Africans from Ugandan side Vipers and quickly made an impact with his performances in front of goal.

During his time with the Tanzanian giants, Okello enjoyed a remarkable run of form, scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists in just half a season.

His impressive statistics attracted attention from FAR Rabat, who have now moved to secure his services as part of their plans to build a stronger squad for the new campaign.

The transfer also represents an important step in Okello’s career, with the 26-year-old set to experience Moroccan football for the first time.

Known for his creativity, technical ability and attacking contribution, Okello will be expected to add quality and depth to FAR Rabat’s midfield and attacking department.

The Royal Army Club will hope his recent goalscoring form can continue in Morocco as they prepare for another demanding domestic and continental campaign.

For Okello, the move provides an opportunity to test himself in a new environment and compete at a higher level of African club football.
