Family of Al-Shahat concerned over son’s arrest in verdict session, calls on Al-Ahly for intervention

Egyptian media sources have reported on the postponement of the inclusion of the case involving Hussein Al-Shahat, a player for Al-Ahly, and Mohamed El Shiby, a Moroccan player with Pyramids FC, to the 30th of this month for the verdict session, sparking fear within the Al-Shahat family of a potential arrest of the player.

The same sources added that the Al-Shahat family has urged Al-Ahly Egyptian Club to leverage its connections to resolve the dispute amicably.

Meanwhile, Ahmed Shobier, the former Egyptian football star, has called for the intervention of wise figures from both Moroccan and Egyptian backgrounds to find an amicable solution, urging El Shiby to drop the lawsuit and close the case, which has escalated beyond its initial proportions.
