Faik Sakar ruled out of Augsburg’s Werder Bremen match

FC Augsburg midfielder Faik Sakar will miss Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen as he continues to recover from ankle problems.

The 18-year-old remains unavailable for selection and will not be included in Augsburg’s squad for the fixture.

Head coach Manuel Baum confirmed that there will be no significant changes to his group from the team that faced Bayer Leverkusen last weekend. Sakar remains among several players currently unavailable through injury or fitness concerns.

The teenager’s absence is another frustrating setback as he works to return to full training. Augsburg have not set a date for his comeback, and it remains unclear when he will be ready to rejoin the squad.
