The President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Walid Sadi, has extended his congratulations to MC Alger for clinching the 2023-2024 league title, celebrating their outstanding season and remarkable victories.

In a tweet on Saturday, Sadi praised the team’s performance, stating, “Congratulations to MC Alger on winning the 2023-2024 professional league title and securing the eighth championship in their history after an exceptional season and fantastic victories.”

MC Alger secured the league title with four rounds remaining, following their decisive win against rivals USM Alger in the 26th round on Friday. The title was confirmed as their closest contenders, CS Constantine and CR Belouizdad, played to a draw.

The victory elevated MC Alger’s points tally to 60, boasting 18 wins, six draws, and only two losses. This commanding lead placed them 14 points ahead of second-placed CR Belouizdad and 15 points ahead of CS Constantine, which has a game in hand.
