Malian midfielder Fady Sidiki Coulibaly is set to sign a four-year contract with Sudanese club Al Merreikh SC.
The move follows the collapse of his transfer to Mouloudia d’Oran, as reported by Africafoot. Coulibaly is expected to travel shortly to finalize the deal.
The highly-rated midfielder, known for his standout performances in Mali’s Ligue 1, has also earned recognition at the international level, representing the senior national team under coaches Éric Chelle and Tom Saintfiet.
Despite offers from African and European clubs, Coulibaly opted for Al Merreikh, where he aims to make an impact and advance his career.
Al Merreikh competes in the Mauritanian league due to the absence of a domestic championship in Sudan and currently holds sixth place.
Coulibaly’s arrival is anticipated to strengthen the squad as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
