Fabien Farnolle Remains a Free Agent After Blackburn Trial
Fabien Farnolle is currently without a club after his trial with English side Blackburn Rovers failed to result in a contract.
The former Clermont goalkeeper, who is of Beninese nationality, took to Twitter to confirm that despite good performances during his trial, Blackburn opted not to sign him due to having an abundance of goalkeepers on their roster.
Farnolle, trained at Bordeaux, remains available and open to offers, though interest appears limited. French club Nice had reportedly shown interest but recently signed Simon Pouplin, formerly of Sochaux, reducing their need for Farnolle.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper will now seek a new club to continue his career.
