EYONG ENOH EXTENDS CONTRACT WITH STANDARD LIÈGE UNTIL 2017
Cameroonian international Eyong Enoh is set to continue his journey with Standard Liège, having officially extended his contract with the Belgian club. Initially signed from Antalyaspor in August 2014, Enoh’s previous deal was due to expire in June 2016, but he has now committed to the Rouches until June 2017.
In an official statement, Standard’s sporting director Axel Lawarée praised the midfielder’s impact:
“Everyone in Belgium today knows the qualities of Eyong, who is not a Cameroonian international by chance. He has gradually become a key player in the team. He is indeed a very important player for the group, both on the pitch and in the locker room, thanks in particular to his experience and his excellent mentality.“
Lawarée added that both parties were eager to continue the collaboration:
“Eyong Enoh really wants to help the team progress and I can guarantee you that his involvement will be total.“
With this extension, Enoh remains a central figure in Standard’s plans, both for his on-field leadership and veteran presence in the dressing room.
