Me Augustin Senghor, re-elected as the President of the Senegalese Football Federation, outlined his plans for the next four years. Among the key projects are the search for additional financial resources, with a target of 3 to 4 billion FCFA, to support the development of football in Senegal. Senghor also emphasized the need to continue reforming the federation’s statutes and regulations and focus on infrastructure development. One of the main goals is to win Senegal’s first continental trophy, addressing a common expectation from the public. Regarding the national team’s coach, Alain Giresse, Senghor mentioned that his mandate extends until 2015 after the Africa Cup of Nations, and discussions about his departure are premature.
