Exauce Ngassaki: Congo-French striker joins Vannes on free transfer from St-Co Locmine
Congo-French forward Exauce Ngassaki has joined Vannes on a free transfer from fellow French side St-Co Locmine. The 29-year-old centre-forward moves after a year with Locmine, strengthening Vannes attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
Ngassaki, born in Brazzaville and standing at 1.82m, has spent much of his career in the French football pyramid, operating primarily as a central striker and favouring his right foot. He arrives at Vannes with extensive experience across the National and National 2 divisions, as well as brief exposure to the top flight.
Over the course of his senior career, Ngassaki has built a consistent scoring record in the French lower leagues. He has produced double figures in goals in both National and National 2, including 13 strikes in one National 1 group campaign and 26 goals across appearances in National 2 Group E, underlining his ability to contribute regularly in front of goal.
Ngassaki previously featured for clubs including Trelissac, Blois Foot 41, Frejus Saint-Raphael and FC Chamalieres, having earlier been on the books at Stade Brestois and SM Caen, where he made a solitary Ligue 1 appearance. His move to Vannes continues a career spent largely in western and central France.
The forward joins Vannes on a permanent deal following the expiry of his spell at St-Co Locmine, with the transfer completed as a free move on 10 July 2026.
