Guinean-born midfielder Paul Pogba has encountered a setback while in Dubai.
The 2018 World Cup champion with France was set to participate in today’s King’s Cup event in Dubai on November 30.
Pogba, who has played for both Juventus and Manchester United, was invited alongside football legends John Terry and Roberto Carlos to attend the gala match.
However, the game was unexpectedly called off due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
“We regret to inform you that the King’s Cup Dubai has been postponed to February 2025,” the organizers stated.
“We will share the new dates of the rescheduled event soon. We appreciate your understanding and support.”
As he awaits his next move, Pogba is currently focusing on his fitness training in Miami, USA, as he searches for a new club.
