Former Chelsea striker Loic Remy has advised Christopher Nkunku to consider leaving Chelsea next summer.
Nkunku, a French attacker of Congolese descent signed for the Blues from RB Leipzig with a lot of expectations but injuries have not made things easy for him.
While he is yet to cement a place in the Chelsea starting eleven, Loic Remy believes he needs a fresh start.
Remy has urged Christopher Nkunku to look for a new club next summer for either a loan move or a permanent transfer.
“I think it would be best for him to get a fresh start in the summer, whether that is a loan or a permanent move.
“Sometimes things don’t work out and it’s wrong to try and force it. I think he can bounce back elsewhere,” Loic Remy said in a recent interview.
Despite concerns about Christopher Nkunku’s lack of impact at Chelsea, his numbers have not been that bad.
This season, he has scored 11 goals and provided 4 assists in 29 for Chelsea.
With several games to play, he is likely to score more before the campaign comes to an end.
