Wydad Casablanca have completed a busy winter transfer window, investing around 3 million euros in eight new signings aimed at strengthening key positions and raising the overall quality of the squad for both domestic and continental competitions.
The reinforcements include high-profile names such as French striker Wissam Ben Yedder and Moroccan international playmaker Hakim Ziyech, alongside Naim Biaz, Ayman El Wafi, Nabil Khali, Salah Eddine Mossadek, Maurice Banga, and Ramiro Vaca.
The club’s strategy combined experience, technical ability, and immediate competitive readiness.
According to Moroccan newspaper Al-Akhbar, the total value of the deals reached nearly 33 million dirhams. Ramiro Vaca’s signing cost roughly 7.4 million dirhams, while Maurice Banga joined for about 10.9 million dirhams.
Wissam Ben Yedder’s transfer was valued at around 8.7 million dirhams, and Naim Biaz’s deal reportedly cost 6 million dirhams. Hakim Ziyech, along with Salah Eddine Mossadek, Ayman El Wafi, and Nabil Khali, joined on free transfers.
These acquisitions reflect Wydad’s commitment to a balanced approach, combining proven talent with strategic additions to maintain competitiveness across all fronts.
