Everton set €70m price tag for Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye

Everton are ready to resist any attempt from Manchester United to sign Iliman Ndiaye this summer, with the club determined to operate as a non-selling side under The Friedkin Group’s ownership.

Journalist Ben Jacobs explained that insiders at Goodison Park believe Ndiaye will be “really difficult to get out” and may even be offered improved terms to stay.

The Senegal international arrived from Marseille in 2024 and has quickly become one of Everton’s standout performers after a challenging spell in France. His speed, dribbling and ability to play across the frontline have naturally drawn interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United.

Everton’s firm position is reinforced by their recent handling of Jarrad Branthwaite, when they rejected multiple offers and tied the defender to a new long-term contract.

Ndiaye is also under contract until 2029, leaving the Toffees under no pressure to sell and giving them strong leverage in any negotiations.

All signs point to Everton fighting hard to keep one of their key attacking players, even if Manchester United decide to test their resolve with a sizeable bid.
