Everton linked with Mohamed Amoura as Wolfsburg forward emerges in transfer rumour

Algeria forward Mohamed Amoura, currently at Wolfsburg, has been linked with a move to Everton.

The 26-year-old centre-forward is under contract with the German club until 30 June 2029, but Everton’s interest has raised the possibility of a Premier League move. Amoura’s current market value is listed at €20m.

Amoura joined Wolfsburg permanently from Union Saint-Gilloise on 1 July 2025 after spending the previous season on loan at the Bundesliga club. Wolfsburg paid €14.75m for the transfer following that loan spell.

He has made 61 Bundesliga appearances, scoring 18 goals and providing 16 assists. Amoura also recorded 16 goals and eight assists in 36 Ligue 1 appearances during his career.

The Algeria international has made one appearance at the 2026 World Cup, coming on as a substitute and playing seven minutes.

Amoura began his senior career with Algerian club ES Setif before moving to Swiss side FC Lugano in 2021. He later joined Union Saint-Gilloise, where he won the Belgian Cup in 2024, before establishing himself in Germany.

Any potential move would involve negotiations with Wolfsburg, given Amoura’s long-term contract and his status as a €20m-rated forward.
