Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane Scores twice on spectacular Lille debut

Moroccan striker Hamza Igamane scored and provided an assist on Thursday night, helping Lille to defeat Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 in the Europa League.

Lille took control early in the match when Félix Correia opened the scoring in the 21st minute.

After receiving a well-timed pass from Hakon Arnar Haraldsson, he found space inside the box and guided his effort into the bottom right corner.

Igamane turned provider in the 36th minute, slipping a precise pass to Ngalayel Mukau, who finished confidently into the bottom left corner to double Lille’s advantage.

The Moroccan forward then added his own name to the scoresheet in the 69th minute. Collecting a short pass from Haraldsson, he weaved past his marker and fired an unstoppable strike into the bottom left corner, showcasing both power and finesse.

Lille completed the rout in the 86th minute through Benjamin André, who reacted quickest to a rebound in the box and drilled the ball low inside the left post.

It was a dominant display from Lille and a night that firmly highlighted Igamane’s growing influence in their Europa League campaign.
