Europa League: Bilal El Khannouss scores to lead VfB Stuttgart to beat Feyenoord 2-0

Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss put up a top performance for VfB Stuttgart on Thursday night, scoring to propel the team to defeat Feyenoord 2-0 in the Europa League.

The young midfielder started the Round 4 fixture of the competition’s league phase and impressed with his displays.

El Khannouss broke the deadlock in the 84th minute, connecting perfectly with a Lorenz Assignon cross to head home from close range. His effort bounced off the crossbar before nestling into the roof of the net, leaving Feyenoord goalkeeper Timon Wellenreuther with no chance.

Stuttgart sealed the win in the 90th minute when Deniz Undav finished off a fine move after being teed up by Chris Führich to make it 2–0.

The result strengthens Stuttgart’s position in their Europa League group phase as they aim for qualification for the knockout stages.

El Khannouss, who continues to shine for the German outfit, will be key for the side heading into upcoming matches.
