Sevilla FC managed to turn the tables on Betis Sevilla and secured their spot in the quarterfinals after a penalty shootout.
Valencia and AZ Alkmaar also booked their spots in the next round with victories over Ludogorets Razgrad and Anzhi Makhatchkala, respectively.
Despite losing on the pitch in Plzen, Olympique Lyonnais secured their place in the quarterfinals after winning the first leg convincingly. The draw for the quarterfinal matchups will take place shortly.
