Ethiopia vs. Zambia Friendly Scheduled Ahead of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers
Ethiopia and Zambia are set to face each other in a friendly match between June 8th and 11th as part of their preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
To gear up for this encounter, Ethiopian coach Yohannes Sahle has called up a large squad of 44 local players. The two teams last met over two years ago during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
Ethiopia, which will soon face Algeria in Group J alongside Lesotho and Seychelles, plans to host Lesotho immediately after the friendly against Zambia.
