Guadour Beljilali Not Leaving Étoile du Sahel, Says Club Official
Despite reports suggesting a possible departure, Guadour Beljilali will not be leaving Étoile Sportive du Sahel during the upcoming winter transfer window. The Algerian midfielder, who joined the Tunisian club last summer, has been rumored to be eyeing a return to Algeria, with ES Sétif reportedly expressing strong interest.
Beljilali is said to be struggling to adapt to life at Étoile, facing both personal and physical challenges. But according to club official Jaziri, the situation is under control.
“Guadour Beljilali will not leave. He is going through a difficult period linked to an injury that sidelined him for three weeks, and also to the health of his pregnant wife,” Jaziri told Mosaïque FM.
While ES Sétif, the reigning African champions, are reportedly keen on bringing the midfielder back home, Étoile du Sahel has made it clear he is not for sale—at least for now.
