Esperance Mabekondiasson: SR Colmar sign Central African Republic forward on free transfer from Blois Foot 41
SR Colmar have signed centre-forward Esperance Mabekondiasson from Blois Foot 41 on a free transfer. The 23-year-old, who represents the Central African Republic and also holds French nationality, joins the French club after three seasons in the senior setup at Blois.
Mabekondiasson, born in Bangui and a right-footed attacker, arrives at Colmar having featured regularly in National 1 Group B. Across his time at that level he has made 56 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing four assists, with his minutes spread over 2,782 in the division.
He has also shown an eye for goal in knockout competition, scoring four times in five Coupe de France matches, averaging just over a goal every 100 minutes in the competition. At youth level, he played 29 times and scored twice in the National U19 Group A.
The forward progressed through the Blois 41 system, moving from their youth ranks to Blois 41 U17 before a stint with Saint-Pryve at under-19 level, and then returning to Blois with their B team. He stepped up to Blois Foot 41s first team in 2023 before making the switch to Colmar in July 2026.
Mabekondiassons arrival adds a new centre-forward option to SR Colmars attack following the completion of his free transfer from Blois Foot 41 on 8 July 2026.
