Espanyol linked with Inter U23 midfielder Issiaka Kamate
Issiaka Kamate, the French-Ivorian midfielder at Inter U23, has been linked with a move to Espanyol. The 22-year-old central midfielder is being mentioned in connection with a switch from Italy’s Serie C to the LaLiga club.
Kamate remains under contract with Inter until 30 June 2029, meaning any potential move would require Espanyol to negotiate a transfer rather than sign him as a free agent. His current market value is listed at €1.5m.
Born in Aulnay-sous-Bois, France, Kamate is eligible to represent both France and Ivory Coast. He joined Inter’s senior structure and has been registered with the club’s Under-23 side, where he wears the number 10 shirt and operates in central midfield.
The player has also been associated with Inter Milan’s recent domestic success, with the club credited with winning the Italian Cup in 2022-23 and 2025-26 and the Italian championship in 2023-24 during his time in the organisation.
No transfer fee, offer or agreement has been reported in the details surrounding the link with Espanyol. For now, Kamate’s contractual position remains unchanged, with the midfielder tied to Inter until the summer of 2029.
