ES Setif sign Algeria-France midfielder Amine Zenadji from FC UNA Strassen
Algeria-France attacking midfielder Amine Zenadji has joined ES Setif from Luxembourg club FC UNA Strassen, completing a move to the Ligue 1 side.
The 29-year-old, who was born in Paris, switches clubs after beginning the 2026-27 season with Strassen in the BGL Ligue and in UEFA Conference League qualifying. He made two league appearances and provided two assists, while also featuring four times in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
Zenadji operates in attacking midfield and is predominantly right-footed. He has moved to Algeria after spending the past three seasons with Strassen, where he arrived from Belgian side UR La Louviere in July 2023 on a free transfer.
His career has included spells with several clubs in Belgium and Luxembourg. Before joining La Louviere, he played for Hesperange, initially moving there from La Louviere in 2021. That stay included a loan spell at RE Virton during the 2021-22 season, before he returned to Hesperange in January 2022.
Zenadji began his senior career in France with Red Star FC B after progressing through the Red Star youth system. He also spent time with Entente SSG and Red Star FC during his development.
The move takes him from Luxembourg’s BGL Ligue to Algeria’s top flight, with ES Setif becoming the latest club in a career that has taken him across France, Belgium and Luxembourg. His arrival gives the Setif side an attacking midfielder with recent experience in domestic competition and European qualifying football.
Zenadji has now completed his transfer from FC UNA Strassen and joined ES Setif on 19 August 2026.
