ES Sahel departure confirmed for Tunisia right-back Ahmed Horchani

Tunisia right-back Ahmed Horchani has left ES Sahel and is now without a club after completing his departure from the Tunisian Ligue 1 side on 4 August 2026.

The 24-year-old defender spent one season with ES Sahel, having joined the club from EGS Gafsa on 18 September 2025. No transfer fee has been recorded for either move.

Horchani made 44 Ligue 1 appearances during his career, providing one assist and playing 3,467 minutes. He has also featured in the Ligue I Pro Playout, the Tunisian Cup, the CAF Confederation Cup and the Ligue Professionelle 1 relegation competition.

A right-back who prefers his right foot, Horchani stands 1.78m tall and has represented clubs in Tunisia throughout his senior career. His move to ES Sahel followed his spell with EGS Gafsa, but his time with the club has now ended after a single season.

Horchani’s departure leaves him available to join another club, with his recorded market value standing at €200,000. His highest listed market value was €250,000.

The defender’s exit was registered at the start of the 2026-27 season, bringing his spell with ES Sahel to a close. Five days after his 24th birthday, Horchani is now without a club following the completed move away from the Sousse-based side.

Horchani has formally left ES Sahel and joined the ranks of unattached players.
