Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah has praised the goal-scoring prowess of Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland.
Salah made these remarks ahead of their clash at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
“I respect Erling Haaland a lot,” Salah told SkyDE in the build-up to the crucial fixture.
“He’s a striker, so his life is a bit easier! For a winger to have such a record is quite difficult. Every winger can confirm that.”
The Liverpool talisman has consistently delivered impressive goal-scoring numbers despite operating from a wide position.
“So, I see it differently between us, because he’s a striker and I’m a winger,” he added.
While Haaland benefits from being the focal point of City’s attack, the 32-year-old often has to create his own chances from out wide. With both players expected to play key roles on Sunday, their contrasting styles will be on full display.
With Arsenal set to host West Ham at the Emirates today, Liverpool will hope to win to keep their chances of winning the Premier League intact.
