Gambian forward, Yankuba Minteh starred with two important goals for Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night, ensuring that the team hammered Chelsea 3-0 in the English Premier League.
The rising star started for the hosts in their Round 26 encounter of the 2024/25 league campaign.
In a game where Yankuba Minteh lasted 89 minutes, he was a menace for the Chelsea defense, playing a pivotal role in helping his team to earn all three points.
It all started for Brighton & Hove Albion in the 27th minute when main man Kaoru Mitoma equalised with a screaming effort after a long ball from Bart Verbruggen.
Ten minutes later, Yankuba Minteh put his pace to his advantage, pouncing on a rebound and finding the back of Chelsea’s net to double the lead for the hosts.
Later in the second half, the Gambian fed off a deflected shot from veteran forward Danny Welbeck and scored his second to complete a sensational brace.
