Enzo Mayilla: Franco-Cameroonian striker joins USL Dunkerque from Saint-Etienne B on long-term deal

USL Dunkerque have signed France-Cameroon centre-forward Enzo Mayilla from Saint-Etienne B on a long-term contract running until June 2029. The 20-year-old moves to the Ligue 2 side after establishing himself in the French lower divisions as a tall, central attacking option.

Mayilla, who was born in Ivry-sur-Seine and stands at 1.95m, arrives from Saint-Etienne’s reserve team, who competed in National 2 last season. His switch to Dunkerque marks his first move into a professional second-tier squad, with the forward now tied to the club for the next three years.

The striker spent last season between Saint-Etienne B and Aubagne Air Bel, where he had a loan spell before returning at the end of the 2025-26 campaign. Prior to stepping up to the reserves, he came through the Saint-Etienne youth system, progressing from the under-19s into senior football.

Across his early career, Mayilla has built up experience in the French National 3 and National competitions as well as youth tournaments. He has made more than 25 appearances in Ligue 3, scoring six goals and contributing further strikes in National 3 and domestic cup competitions, including the Coupe de France.

Capable of leading the line as a traditional centre-forward, Mayilla now joins a Dunkerque side preparing for the demands of a Ligue 2 season. His move from Saint-Etienne B to the northern club is confirmed as a completed transfer, with his contract set to run until 30 June 2029.
