AFC Compiegne have added French-Cape Verdean midfielder Enzo Lopes to their squad after the 24-year-old completed a free transfer from AS Panazol. The central midfielder joins the French side ahead of the new campaign, strengthening the spine of the team with immediate effect.

Lopes, born in Bondy in March 2002, arrives after a spell in the French lower leagues in which he has steadily built senior experience at central midfield. Comfortable on the ball and predominantly right-footed, he is expected to operate in the middle of the pitch for his new club.

The move to Compiegne follows an 18-month stint at AS Panazol, which he also joined on a free transfer from Pays du Valois in January 2025. Before that, Lopes came through the youth and reserve system at FC Chambly, progressing from the under-19s to the B team after leaving Amiens under-19s in 2020.

Across his time in the French National 2 and youth competitions, Lopes has accumulated more than 60 competitive appearances, contributing goals and assists from midfield while also featuring in the Coupe de France. That run of consistent minutes at senior and under-19 level has helped establish him as a regular at this tier of the game.

Having now signed for AFC Compiegne, Lopes free-transfer switch from AS Panazol is confirmed for the 2026-27 season.
