Enzo Fokam Kamguem: France-Cameroon defender joins Trouville-Deauville on free transfer

France-Cameroon centre-back Enzo Fokam Kamguem has joined AS Trouville-Deauville-Villers on a free transfer from Chateaubriant. The 26-year-old defender moves to the National 2 Group D side after his contract with the National 1 Group B club came to an end.

Born in Angers and standing at 1.85m, Fokam Kamguem adds experience at the heart of the defence, having accumulated more than 140 appearances across the French National 1 and National 2 divisions and the Coupe de France. Primarily a right-footed centre-back, he has featured extensively in Group A, B and C of National 1 during his senior career.

Fokam Kamguem rejoined Chateaubriant in October 2025 after a short spell without a club, having previously played for Saumur in National 2. Earlier in his career he came through the youth set-up at Angers SCO, progressing from the under-19s to the B team before making the step into the semi-professional ranks with Saumur in 2019.

Across league and cup competitions, Fokam Kamguem has built a reputation as a durable presence, logging well over 10,000 minutes of senior football and contributing a small number of goals from the back line. His move to Trouville-Deauville marks the latest step in a career spent entirely in the French football pyramid.

The deal sees Fokam Kamguem complete a permanent switch to Trouville-Deauville after leaving Chateaubriant on a free transfer.
