Enzo Ebosse: Rakow linked with move for Udinese’s Cameroon defender
Enzo Ebosse, the Cameroon international centre-back at Udinese, is being linked with a move to Polish champions Rakow in the Ekstraklasa. The 27-year-old, who is under contract with the Serie A club until 30 June 2027, is understood to be on the radar of the Czestochowa side as they look to reinforce the left side of their defence.
Ebosse, born in Amiens and also holding French nationality, has accumulated 40 Serie A appearances for Udinese since arriving from Angers in July 2022, when the Italian club paid a reported €4m fee. His versatility as a left-footed central defender and his experience in both Italian and French top flights are thought to be key factors in Rakow’s interest.
The defender’s current market valuation stands at around €2.8m, a figure that could make a permanent transfer financially accessible for the Ekstraklasa outfit, who are aiming to add proven top-flight experience to their back line. Ebosse also has knowledge of Polish football from a previous spell with Jagiellonia Bialystok, where he won the Polish Super Cup in the 2024-25 season.
Udinese have used Ebosse both as a starter and in rotation in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, but a move to Rakow would offer a return to a league where he has already featured and succeeded. For now, the defender remains tied to the Friulian club for another season, with any deal likely to depend on Rakow matching Udinese’s valuation and the player’s willingness to leave Italy once again.
