🎙️ Coach Madoui: “We Must Win the First Match”
Coach Kheireddine Madoui has emphasized the importance of starting strong:
“Winning our first match is crucial. Beyond the three points, it would give the team confidence and momentum for the rest of the competition. From there, anything becomes possible.”
Madoui, the youngest coach to win the CAF Champions League, remains optimistic about Sétif’s prospects, buoyed by the team’s excellent form at the close of 2014 and the imminent arrival of reinforcements.
🔄 Squad Strengthening Underway
Despite a successful Champions League campaign, Madoui admitted the team has had to cope with:
Injuries
A limited squad due to CAF licensing issues
However, the upcoming Club World Cup will feature a fuller, stronger roster, as players previously unavailable will join the squad in time for the tournament:
“Soon we’ll have a stronger squad with more options. That will allow us to better handle any situation,” said Madoui.
