Enppi has claimed the top spot in the Egyptian Premier League table after securing a hard-fought victory against Arab Contractors in today’s match of the ongoing 2023-2024 season.
The two teams clashed at the Arab Contractors Stadium in Green Mountain as part of the 12th round of the Nile League competition.
The decisive goal for Enppi came from Ahmed Khalil Kalousha in the 49th minute, following a well-placed cross into the penalty area from a free-kick by Mohamed Hamdy.
Kalousha’s precise header found the back of the net, sealing the victory for Enppi.
Arab Contractors attempted to equalize afterward but faced resilient defending from Enppi, failing to break through their opponent’s backline.
With this result, Enppi now leads the Egyptian Premier League table with 22 points, while Arab Contractors remain at the 16th position with 7 points.
