Enoch Barwuah, the younger brother of Mario Balotelli, has secured a spot in Italian Division Six (D6) with AC Vallecamonica. However, what makes this move noteworthy is the inclusion of a peculiar clause in his contract – the requirement for Mario Balotelli’s presence at certain club meetings.
This clause is seen as an attempt by the club to capitalize on the publicity associated with Mario Balotelli. It’s an unusual request, especially considering Enoch had previously turned down an offer from Manduria, a club of similar standing, as he felt they were aiming to exploit him for publicity.
Enoch Barwuah expressed his primary interest in playing rather than being involved in a media circus. He revealed on Sky Sport, “I only want to play; this media circus doesn’t interest me. For example, in Manduria (Eccellenza), I was offered a driver and a villa with a swimming pool. I had the impression that they only wanted to gain publicity.”
Despite this, there is hope that Enoch does not follow in the footsteps of his elder brother. According to Réseau Actu, Enoch was arrested in December after leaving a nightclub in Brescia, where he was involved in a fight that led to an altercation with police officers.
