England midfielder of Nigerian descent, Carney Chukwuemeka, is set to undergo a medical examination on Monday, August 25, ahead of his move to German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
The Bundesliga side are preparing to unveil two new signings, with central defender Aaron Anselmino also set to join from Chelsea on loan.
Chukwuemeka, who previously had a loan spell with Dortmund, now returns to the Black and Yellows on a full-time basis.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal has been finalised, with Chelsea set to receive a package worth around €25 million, including bonuses. The London club have also secured a significant resale clause as part of the agreement.
Both Chukwuemeka and Anselmino are expected to complete their mandatory medical examinations on Monday before Dortmund makes the transfers official.
Dortmund are confident the two players will bolster their squad for the 2025/26 football season.
