Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has shared his excitement about fitting into life at Stamford Bridge, describing it as an “amazing feeling” to play for the Blues.
The 27-year-old Englishman born to Nigerian parents made a summer transfer from Fulham to Chelsea and has featured in 16 matches, starting five of the last seven league games.
Adarabioyo has acknowledged the high caliber of players within the Chelsea squad, noting that the intense competition has pushed him to elevate his own performance.
“When you join a top club like Chelsea, there are top players in every position, so you have to fight every single day in training and be patient and bide your time,” he explained in an interview with the club.
“It definitely feels like home now. It’s been great. We are one group here; we all support each other no matter if you’re on the bench or in the starting XI.
“We’re all pushing for each other, and we’re all competing on the training field to get those minutes on the pitch.”
Adarabioyo has featured for England at youth level but is still eligible for Nigeria because he has not featured for the Three Lions.
