AC Milan centre-back Fikayo Tomori has refuted any suggestions that he intended to leave the club for Tottenham Hotspur during the winter transfer window.
The defender, who has Nigerian heritage, emphasized his dedication to the Rossoneri, stating, “I never planned to leave AC Milan, that’s very clear and simple. I’m just happy to be at this club and as long as they want me, I want to stay.”
Tomori was frequently mentioned in connection with potential moves to both Aston Villa and Tottenham in recent months.
However, negotiations between AC Milan and these clubs did not yield any agreements.
The 27-year-old has remained professional amid speculation about his future.
Under the guidance of manager Sergio Conceiçao, Tomori has established himself as a key figure in the team’s defensive lineup, contributing significantly to their campaign.
He has made 25 appearances for the Rossoneri this season, showcasing his importance within the squad.
Despite the transfer rumors, Tomori’s focus is clearly on his current role at AC Milan.
