English-Ivorian defender Marc Guehi signals intention to leave Crystal Palace
England defender of Ivorian descent, Marc Guehi, has reportedly decided not to extend his contract with Crystal Palace.
According to multiple reports, the centre-back is eager to take the next step in his career and will leave the Eagles once his current deal expires.
His decision has reignited interest from several top European clubs, including Liverpool, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich.
Liverpool were said to be close to sealing a deal for the 25-year-old before talks collapsed on the final day of the transfer window.
The Reds, however, remain favourites to secure his signature ahead of Inter, who are also exploring defensive reinforcements following Francesco Acerbi’s departure and Stefan de Vrij’s expiring contract.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Inter are prioritising a new defender for next season but may struggle to compete financially. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, are reportedly ready to make a significant offer should Dayot Upamecano fail to renew his contract.
Guehi’s decision not to renew at Selhurst Park all but confirms his exit, with several top clubs now preparing to battle for his signature ahead of the 2026 season.
