English-Ghanaian defender Ayden Heaven hails coach Ruben Amorim for his impact on him
Manchester United’s young defender Ayden Heaven has praised head coach Ruben Amorim for his guidance and support, saying the manager has played a crucial role in his rapid progress this season.
The English-Ghanaian centre-back has impressed in recent weeks, taking his chance in the first team while senior defenders have been sidelined. Heaven singled out Amorim’s approach as a key factor in his development.
“He’s a brilliant manager,” Heaven told United Review. “He’s always reassuring me and helping me improve. He’s a great guy off the pitch as well, and I’m going to love continuing to work with him.
“It helps a lot to know the manager cares about you and takes time to speak to you. That means a lot.”
With opportunities continuing to grow, Heaven is confident he can build on his early-season performances and hopes this marks the start of a long and successful spell at Old Trafford.
