Manchester City is facing concerns regarding their midfielder Yaya Touré, who is under scrutiny by the English Football Association (FA) for an alleged misconduct during their match against Norwich last Saturday, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Touré, a former FC Barcelona player, is suspected of intentionally stepping on Ricky van Wolfswinkel, the Dutch striker from Norwich. While Manchester City’s manager Manuel Pellegrini dismisses any concerns, stating, “I don’t see what you are talking about and I am not worried about it,” Norwich’s coach Chris Hughton suggests otherwise, noting that van Wolfswinkel is not one to complain.
If Touré is found guilty, he could face a three-match suspension.
