England-Ghanaian forward Callum Hudson-Odoi signs new contract with Nottingham Forest
England-born attacker of Ghanaian descent, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has extended his contract with Nottingham Forest.
The English Premier League side announced the new deal in a statement on Saturday, August 30, stating that the former Chelsea youth star has inked a new three-year contract.
“Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm Callum Hudson-Odoi has extended his stay on Trentside, signing a new three-year deal until 2028,” the club announced.
After joining from Chelsea in September 2023, Hudson-Odoi has since racked up 72 appearances in all competitions for Forest, scoring 14 times and registering six assists.
He describes the club as home and is eager to enjoy the coming years at the club.
“This is home, and I’ve enjoyed every moment. I appreciate all the support and love I’ve been getting since day one, and coming here has helped me in every way possible.
“We have such an amazing group, and I can’t wait to keep going and enjoy the journey,” Hudson-Odoi said after signing the contract.
Nottingham Forest Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson, said: “It has been a busy summer for all of us here at Nottingham Forest. As well as strengthening our squad, we have also been active in extending contracts of the core of the team that has put us in this exciting position as a key part of our strategy.
“We all love Callum and from the first second we met back in 2023 to discuss him joining the club it has been a pleasure to work with him. Everyone knows how important he has been on the pitch, but he also plays a big role off it. He is popular amongst all of our players and staff, and we’re delighted he has committed to the Club signing this new deal. We are sure there’s more great moments to come from Callum.”
