To commemorate Sir Alex Ferguson’s 26 years at the helm of Manchester United, the club plans to unveil a statue of the legendary manager on November 23. The statue will be placed at the entrance to the stands named after him in Old Trafford, the home stadium of Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the most successful managers in football history, led Manchester United to numerous titles during his tenure. The unveiling will take place during the Premier League match against Queens Park Rangers, coincidentally the same club against which Ferguson began his managerial journey with Manchester United on November 22, 1986.
