A landmark initiative in Comoros is set to unfold as a three-day training course for women’s football referees kicks off this Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Spearheaded by the executive committee of the Comorian Football Federation (FCF), the program underscores a concerted effort to bolster female representation in the sport.
Scheduled to run from April 24 to 26, 2024, the training sessions will span all three islands of the national territory
. Designed and coordinated by the Comorian Football Federation, the program aims to enhance the capabilities of referees actively engaged in women’s football.
Anticipation surrounds the participation of forty-five (45) aspiring referees slated to attend the training.
Guided by the expertise of Zeoudine Abdou, the head of the arbitration department at the FFC, the workshop will benefit from the instructional guidance of esteemed facilitators, including Dr. Moussa Hamidou (Ngazidja), Ibrahim Saindou (Ndzuani), and Elamine Ali Mbaraka.
