Emmanuel Yeboah: Ghana striker joins Corvinul Hunedoara on free transfer from Brondby IF
Ghanaian centre-forward Emmanuel Yeboah has joined Corvinul Hunedoara on a free transfer from Brondby IF, completing a permanent move to the Romanian SuperLiga club on 7 July 2026.
The 23-year-old, who stands at 1.88m and prefers to play through the middle, returns to Romania after spells in Denmark and Sweden. He arrives at Corvinul with a current estimated market value of 350,000, having last been on the books of Brondby following a series of loan moves.
Yeboah spent the 2025-26 season with Halmstads BK in Swedens top flight, initially joining from Brondby on loan in July 2025 before returning to the Danish side at the end of the campaign. Prior to that, he had a loan stint at Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga during the 2024-25 season.
Brondby signed Yeboah from CFR Cluj in August 2023 after his breakthrough in Romanian football. His valuation rose rapidly during his time at Cluj, climbing from 25,000 as a youth player to a peak of 1 million by early 2023, reflecting his emergence as a promising attacking talent in the Romanian top tier.
Born in Sunyani, Ghana, Yeboah moved to Europe from Young Apostles FC when he joined CFR Clujs youth set-up in 2022, progressing quickly into the first-team squad before earning his transfer to Denmark. His subsequent spells across the Superliga and Allsvenskan have given him experience in multiple European leagues.
Yeboah now resumes his career in the Romanian SuperLiga with Corvinul Hunedoara as a permanent signing from Brondby.
