It is indeed a sad day for Ghanaian football with the passing of Emmanuel Quarshie. He made significant contributions to the sport, and his role as the last Black Stars captain to lift the African Cup of Nations trophy in 1982 holds a special place in football history. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends, and the entire football community mourning his loss.
