Nigerian defender Emmanuel Fernandez attracts Europe’s elite clubs

Emmanuel Fernandez has become one of the most in-demand defenders in Europe, with several top clubs monitoring the Rangers FC centre-back ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Nigerian international’s rapid rise in Scotland has sparked widespread interest, following a standout debut season that has elevated his reputation beyond the Scottish Premiership.

Despite the growing list of suitors, Rangers are not under immediate pressure to sell. Club officials have reportedly set a valuation of around €35 million, reflecting both the player’s importance to the team and the scale of interest he has generated.
