Emmanuel Adebayor picks Cristiano Ronaldo as ‘best player’

Togo legend and former Arsenal superstar Emmanuel Adebayor has selected Cristiano Ronaldo as the ‘best player’ he has ever played with.

Speaking in an interview with Stadium Astro, Adebayor praised the Portuguese icon’s tireless ambition, unmatched motivation, and exceptional character.

Adebayor believes these qualities set Ronaldo apart from every other footballer.

Adebayor, who played alongside Ronaldo during his spell at Real Madrid between 2011 and 2012, recalled witnessing the forward’s relentless work ethic firsthand.

“Is Ronaldo the best player I’ve ever played with? Absolutely,” he said. “In terms of his personality, his motivation, and his character… he’s just crazy,” he said.

Adebayor went on to highlight Ronaldo’s remarkable resilience, explaining how the five-time Ballon d’Or winner always finds a way to rise above challenges.

“He’s someone who never gives up. When you think he’s injured or tired, he scores a hat trick or four goals,” Adebayor added.

Ronado, 40, continues to play and is currently one of the top-performing players in the Saudi Pro League. He has set a target of reaching 1,000 goals before calling time on his football career.
