Emmanuel Adebayor Returns to Tottenham Training Following Malaria Recovery
Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has resumed full team training after recovering from malaria. The Togolese forward rejoined Spurs’ training sessions in London on Wednesday, marking his return after being sidelined due to illness.
Adebayor missed the initial part of Tottenham’s pre-season tour in the United States, which included friendlies in Seattle, Toronto, and Chicago. Although he had announced his recovery earlier and was training separately, Wednesday’s session was his first back with the main squad.
His return coincided with the arrival of Tottenham’s World Cup players, including Algeria’s Nabil Bentaleb, Belgium’s Nacer Chadli and Jan Vertonghen, and French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Adebayor is now eligible for selection in Tottenham’s upcoming friendly match against Celtic FC in Helsinki, scheduled for next Saturday, providing a timely boost for the team as they prepare for the new season.
