The Génération Foot center academy is set to open on September 16 in Déni Birame Ndao, located 60 km from Dakar. The academy is sponsored by Senegalese internationals Babacar Guèye and Togolese Emmanuel Adebayor. Génération Foot has a partnership with the FC Metz training center in the French Ligue 2. The academy will feature three natural grass pitches, and the total cost of the project is approximately 3.2 billion CFA francs. Notable players who have come through Génération Foot include Babacar Guèye, Sadio Mané (Red Bull Salzburg), Papiss Cissé (Newcastle), and Fallou Diagne (Fribourg).
