Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé has announced his squad for the upcoming international window, selecting a group to face South Korea and Scotland in two friendly matches later this month.

The Elephants are scheduled to play South Korea on 28 March at MK Stadium in Milton Keynes, before taking on Scotland on 31 March at Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. Both matches form part of preparations during the March international break.

Faé unveiled his selection during a press conference on Wednesday, confirming a squad that blends returning players with new faces.

Among the notable inclusions are two first-time call-ups: left winger Martial Godo and striker Elye Wahi. Godo, previously involved with the U23 side, has impressed this season with RC Strasbourg, contributing 13 goals and five assists, while Wahi has progressed through France’s youth international ranks.

The squad also sees the return of several players who were absent during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Bénie Traoré, who plays for FC Basel, is back in the national team setup for the first time since 2024. Simon Adingra, Wilfried Singo and Clément Akpa are also recalled after missing the recent continental tournament in Morocco.

Faé’s selection covers all areas of the pitch, with Yahia Fofana, Mohamed Koné and Alban Lafont named among the goalkeepers.

Defensive options include Emmanuel Agbadou, Ousmane Diomande, Evan Ndicka and Odilon Kossounou, alongside others such as Guéla Doué and Ghislain Konan.

In midfield, experienced figures like Franck Kessié, Seko Fofana and Jean Michaël Seri are included, supported by Ibrahim Sangaré and Parfait Guiagon.

The attacking line features a mix of youth and experience, with Amad Diallo, Evann Guessand and Bazoumana Touré joining newcomers Godo and Wahi.

The upcoming fixtures will offer Faé an opportunity to assess his squad against European and Asian opposition as Ivory Coast continue to build ahead of future competitions.
