Emeka Eze: Nigerian striker joins Sariyerspor from Corum FK in permanent move
Nigerian centre-forward Emeka Eze has joined Sariyerspor from Corum FK in a permanent transfer as the Istanbul club reshapes its attack ahead of the new 1.Lig season. The 29-year-old moves within Turkiye after spending last term on the books of Corum, having already enjoyed a loan spell at Sariyerspor earlier in the year.
Eze first linked up with Sariyerspor in January on a temporary deal from Corum FK and now returns on a full-time basis following the conclusion of that loan at the end of June. His second switch between the clubs in the space of six months underlines Sariyerspors determination to retain a player they tested in their frontline during the second half of the campaign.
Born in Lagos and standing at 1.87m, Eze has built a career as a central striker across several countries, operating predominantly as a right-footed centre-forward. He arrived at Corum FK in July 2025 from Pendikspor, continuing a long association with Turkish football that has seen him feature for a series of sides across the countrys professional tiers.
Before joining Corum, Eze represented Pendikspor and Eyupspor following a spell with Ankara Keciorengucu, where his performances helped raise his profile in the Turkish game. Earlier in his career he played outside Turkiye with SK Sturm Graz in Austria, having first moved to Europe with Finnish side Rovaniemen Palloseura.
Ezes current market value is estimated at around 600,000, reflecting his status as an experienced forward in the Turkish leagues. The move confirms his return to Sariyerspor as they prepare their squad for the 2026-27 1.Lig campaign.
